About Padraig

I've spent 30 years at the intersection of technology leadership and hands-on engineering — as CTO and VP R&D across multiple companies; as founder of IpUnplugged where I raised $40M, and scaling engineering organisations to 100s of team members. I've led M&A integrations and driven adoption of best practices in leadership, development, and technology.

With AI's emergence, I help teams incorporate AI-driven development approaches that pragmatically suit their needs — building solutions that leverage this revolutionary technology while reflecting their actual goals.

I also mentor founders at Ireland's largest startup incubator. Staying at the leading edge of technology and helping companies realise their potential is both a passion and a learning experience.

I operate at every level. I'm as comfortable presenting AI strategy to a board as I am debugging a deployment pipeline. This range comes from genuine curiosity — I still program regularly and have quite recently completed a Professional Diploma in Advanced AI.
